The Research Of Promoting Urban-rural Integration Development In Fuzhou City

To develop urban and rural and to promote Urban-rural integration is a major decision made by the CPC Central Committee and State Council Urban and rural development.which is necessary to build a moderately prosperous society. It is on June of 2007 that the country approved the establishment of Chongqing and Chengdu cities "national comprehensive reform pilot urban and rural areas." Only four months after, the party's congress proposed specific requirements of the new pattern that is urban and rural development, integration of urban and rural economic and social development.At present, all over the country are seriously in accordance with the central decisions and arrangements, and actively explore the idea of urban and rural development measures. Fuzhou, an open city and the capital city of Fujian, is located in the souther-east coast, facing a important issue presently. Which is how to play advantage, a pilot, first to promote the integrated development of urban and rural areas under the situation of the state encouraging the prior development in the eastern region and expedite the construction of Hercynian situation. Which can highlight the status and the role of great significance.This paper research the process of urbanization in Fuzhou, absorbing the domestic and international theory research on urban and rural development, SWOT method used to analyses the strengths and weaknesse of promoting urban and rural development in Fuzhou, opportunities and challenges, and learning the experience of urban and rural development practices from other countries. At last, urban-rural integration is proposed to promote" the development of Fuzhou, the guiding ideology, development goals, the general idea, the main tasks and countermeasures, as Fuzhou reference to carry out the decisions. The paper points out that the urban-rural integration in Fuzhou is still in its infancy, but already has the conditions to the senior stage forward, the next period if the city can seriously learn from other advanced experience of rural integration, give full play to advantages, to take effective measures,It will further create a new situation in urban and rural integration.
