Based on available literature of the emerging technology commercialization's performance a theoretical framework about the factors which affect commercializa-tion's performance is proposed. The framework is about the relationship between technology, enterprise, entrepreneurial ability, market, government, society environ-ment and commercialization's performance. Twelve hypotheses are proposed based on the framework. These hypotheses are confirmed through a field survey of 191 em-ployees from medium-sized and small enterprises engaging in technology. After inves-tigating these enterprises in Xi'an High-tech Zone and Beijing Zhongguancun Innova-tion Park, 191 final samples are collected. Applying SPSS16.0 to conduct descriptive statistical analysis, exploratory factor analysis, cronbach'sαreliability analysis and construct validity analysis at first, then Pearson correctional analysis, multi-collinearity analysis and regression analysis are performed to confirm the quality of the data.The empirical research result shows that technology, enterprise, entrepreneurial ability, market and government have a significant positive correlation relationship, with commercialization's performance, while society environment does not impact commercialization's performance significantly. Besides, technology and market can both predict commercialization's performance. Then we give some advice to improve commercialization's performance for the medium-sized and small technological enter-prises.
