An Empirical Analysis Of The Relationship Between The Structure And Economic Growth In Shaanxi Province

Today,the structure of economic growth factors have caused great attention of scholars. Many scholars believe that the change of industrial structure can promote economic growth,and economic growth will also have a significant impact on the industrial structure. Both economic growth and the industrial structure influence each other. To a certain area, if the industry structure is reasonable, the region will achieve economic stability, health and faster growth. Competition in economy depends on the competition in the industry, If there is imbalance in industrial structure, economic development will be hindered. Changes in industrial structure and economic growth are dependent on each other. Shaanxi Province is a big province in the west, and plays the great important role in the economical process between the west and east of China. At present the research on the relationship between the industrial structure change and the economic growth is the qualitative analysis mostly, lacking the quantitative analysis research. Therefore, it is very important to research the relationship between industrial structure change and the economic growth in both theory and the practical aspects. This article conducts the research to relations between the Shaanxi's industrial structure change and economic growth, summarizing and profiting from the predecessor research results in the foundation, utilizing statistical analysis, measuring Granger cause and Factor analysis hoped that can provide the reference for Shaanxi's industrial policy research.This article is divided into five parts:The first part is introduction, which introduces why this article selects the topic and the background and the significance of this research, as well as the domestic and foreign research situation, and carries on the appraisal to it; The second part is theory indication of industrial structure and the economic growth, elaborating basic concept of the industrial structure and the industrial classification, the economic growth theory and the inter relations between industrial structure and the economic growth; The third part is the empirical part using the Granger cause to analyse the relationship between industrial structure and economic growth in Shaanxi. Meanwhile the three major contributions of industrial structure to economic growth rate is also analysed; The fourth part is using the factor analysis model to research the development on 32 industrial sectors in secondary industry of Shaanxi Province;The fifth part gives policy suggestion based on the above results; The last part shows the main conclusions and the shortage about this article and the further research on this thesis.
