Consulting Project Life Cycle Management Research

Project consultancy in China for more than 20 years, has achieved greatdevelopment, also has many of malaises. Project consulting effects do not ideal,customer satisfaction low, even some project consulting fees cannot withdraw, projectfailure case common. Industry this confusion for many reasons, many scholars fromthe macro management discussion. We need to further study consulting projectmanagement, how to carry out effective project management, guarantee theconsulting projects in time, cost and quality objectives.According to the project management knowledge system, the success of theproject management needs two categories, namely, facing the product process processand project management process. Facing the product process project life period byregulation, two process from start to finish projects with interaction overlapping eachother always. If lack of understanding of the project life period, project managementprocess will not be implemented. Therefore, the author holds that the management ofproject consulting further research, first must make clear project consulting projectlife period. Establish and consulting project management life period model is afundamental work programs and, on the other hand, can be used as the basis ofconsultation management research, on the other hand can be used as consultingproject practice of both parties (consultancy provider and consulting consignor) thebasis for the control of project implementation.Project consultancy in the current social economic activities, however, existwidely in success rate is not ideal, project consulting on the project consultingresearch also very little. For consulting project life cycle management understandingis the effective implementation project consultancy foundation. Based on the projectlife cycle of framework, the management of project consultation, the paper buildsconsulting project life cycle model, and through the case illustrates consulting project life cycle model is how to help consulting success of the project. This paper establishconsulting project life period model reveals consulting project stage sequence, maintechnical work, and project stage management control, management consultingprovider and entrust can implement effective on project management.
