The position of trade in services improved in global trade, the limit of Manufacturing and service sector become obscure with the fast development and fusion, the development level of service industry especially some emerging modern service industries is an important index for competitiveness evaluating in one nation.On the microcosmic side, The fusion of service industry and other industries, making it more and more like manufacturing industry, The Servitization of Manufacturing is becoming increasingly conspicuous, service boundaries are becoming blurred, which pose a challenge to the existing Classification of Service Industry.the current statistical of the services sectors based on the industrial classification for national economic, However, service industry classification remains controversial in some industries about whether it belong to service industry or not. Establish an clear and reasonable service industry classification is the foundation for the structure optimization and sustainable development of service industry.This thesis summed up a wide range of study literatures at home and abroad to gain valuable research results. Then centering on the essence and the concept definition of service, the thesis discusses the method of service industry classification, the phenomena of service industrialization and Manufacturing Servitization. In this thesis, there have been some results through the use of comparative analysis \input-output analysis and Case Analysis. The conclusion is as follows:1. This thesis has made the definition of service and service industry on the basis of different of services and products, deeply analyzes the essence of the service, and takes it as foundation for Research on Method of Service Industry Classification. It also made a more comprehensive explanation for the service product theory and service value theory.2.The thesis classified on service industry According to mainly form of Output results for different industries, and paint the gradient map for industry, agriculture and service industry, demonstrates that there was no impassable gulf separating the service industry and other industries, even we can say pure service industry is not exist.3. This thesis discusses the phenomenon of manufacturing Servitization, which is a theoretical supplement to the method of Service Industry Classification. The thesis Put forward to respectively analysis the input and output Servitization, confirmed that there is also a great proportion of services contained in manufacturing. This puts forward a new ideas for the research of service economy.
