As a mainstay industry of national economy, the construction industry is faced with an important transformation form labor-concentrated to knowledge-concentrated industry in our knowledge economical time, and specialist technician training is becoming a key topic of enterprise development and human resources management. In Gansu Construction Investment, one of the most serious problems may be neglecting the training needs assessment in training plan, which results in a lower effectiveness of staff training.Based on corporation developmental strategy and training needs analysis, this paper is aimed at investigating the appropriate staff training approaches by using the theories and methods of modern enterprise training, and designing a rational training scheme from the angle of integrating corporation developmental strategy and individual development goals. To this end, a questionnaire sampling survey aimed at the training needs and the corresponding cross data analysis are executed in this paper. By this, the main characteristic of specialist technician training needs can be precisely described, and then the staff training plan of Gansu Construction Investment can be properly designed.This paper is consists of 6 chapters. Chapter I is the introduction. Chapter II reviews basic principles, theories and methods of staff training. The current situation and main problems of staff training in Gansu Construction Investment are summarized in Chapter III. Based on the questionnaire data, Chapter IV is devoted to a comprehensive and cross analysis to the training needs of the specialist technicians, and then, the detailed training scheme is devised and we discuss possible supporting measures to guarantee the successful running of training scheme in Chapter V. Finally, some conclusions of this paper are listed in Chapter VII, and a prospect on the future work is also sketched.
