The Research On Suburbanization' Problems And Countermeasures Of Guangzhou

The phenomenon of suburbanization has appeared in the Western developed countries in 1920s, and some Chinese big cities of which urbanization level are very high such as Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and so on entered the suburbanization stage in 1980s.The emergence and development of the suburbanization has a far-reaching influence on the whole urbanization. To strengthen the research of suburbanization plays an important role in grasping the urban development regularity and guaranteeing urban sustainable development.The paper has analyzed the evolution of suburbanization of Guangzhou based on urban management as well as economics, geography and other courses. The suburbanization development of Guangzhou is mainly in industrial suburbanization and population suburbanization, and the speed of industrial suburbanization development is faster than population suburbanization. Some industrial parks in the inner suburban and many industrial satellite cities in the inner suburban are the important space carrier of industrial suburbanization. The slow development of population suburbanization is mainly due to the lag of construction of infrastructure and public service, so Panyu and Baiyun whose commuting costs are small are the main direction of population migration of Guangzhou currently. The development characteristics reason lies in the government-leading suburbanization development mode, which the government pays too much attention in economic indicators and suburb' industrial development functions.Suburbanization of Guangzhou situation exposed many problems in the government suburbanization management. Industrial suburbanization is concerned with land extensive management, while population suburbanization is concerned with the absence of social public service management. Therefore, we must strengthen suburbs intensive land management in order to ensure the orderly development of industrial suburbanization. We must attach importance to the construction of suburbs'public service in order to overcome the bottleneck of population suburbanization development. This solution is an important idea to solve suburbanization management problems. But realizing the transformation of government functions is the fundamentality to guarantee for the healthy development suburbanization.
