After 30 years' reform and opening up, China's has achieved some success in the urbanization, many problems also arise from it, especially those such as land, house prices and the income gap which are closely related with the common people. Due to these problems, illegal land acquisitions often take place, house prices are increasingly soaring and the income gap is becoming larger and larger. The essence of those lies in the allocation of land resources and the income gap issue. To well tackle with those is the key to facilitating China's urbanization. In the process of urbanization in China, land plays an important role. Many governments choose to expand the areas to achieve the urbanization of land. Therefore, this article analyzes the urban-rural income gap from the aspect of land. Firstly, it tries to sort out the mechanism of which the land urbanization affects the urban-rural income gap and argues that land urbanization has effects on the income gap through the two channels of government and urban and rural individuals. Secondly, this paper points out this mechanism is completed from two steps. In the precondition of the increasing gap, urbanization caused by the flow of many labors affects land urbanization. Finally, this paper takes Guangdong for an empirical example. From the analysis of Guangdong, this paper argues that land urbanization affects urban-rural income gap by the individual own property of urban-rural people. Although in short-term, the distribution of urban and rural property is not balanced and cannot reflect property income gap. However, with the land urbanization developing, we explore that Urban-Rural property gap can affect the urban-rural income gap in long-term. From the analysis on the impact of Urban-Rural Inequality on land urbanization, we find that the income gap will prompt quantities of rural labors to flow into cities and the enlargement of urban land in Guangdong. On the meanwhile, population urbanization quickly affects the land urbanization.
