As China's traditional agriculture is transforming to modern agriculture and the construction of new countryside is carried out in a deep-going way, more and closer attention is being paid to the promotion of Peasants' quality and their skill training. It's pointed out in Several Suggestions of CPC Central Committee and the State Council on Promoting the Construction of a New Socialist Countryside,2006,that:"Promoting Peasants' comprehensive quality, training a new type of Peasants with a basic education and some knowledge of farming and business are urgent needs for constructing a new socialist countryside" Taking the above as background, and Guizhou Province as object of study, the author of this paper will make intensive study on the provider and the receiver of Peasants training, and try to find out what is worth using for reference and what main problems need to be solved in the present work of Peasants training in Guizhou Province. Finally, the author will put forward policy proposal on further improving Peasants training. In this paper, the author firstly defines "Peasants, Peasants Training, Peasants' Intention to Take Training" and other concepts, then analyzes the research status of Peasants training in China; on the basis of the first-hand materials from on-the-spot investigation, the author makes general analysis on the issues of overall situation of manpower resource in Guizhou countryside, main features of Peasants training in Guizhou Province, and Peasants'cognition on Peasants training. Then the basic situation about the supply of farmers' training in Guizhou Province and the related positive factors and negative factors are analyzed, and the most desired things of farmers about training are researched via questionnaire survey, included the training content, training methods, training teachers and training time. Based on document study and field survey, taking Principal Component Analysis and Logistic Regression Model as research methods, the author analyzed the present development status of peasants' training and the main influencing factors on peasants' intention to take training. The research result shows 1) Presently, peasants' intention to take part in training is mainly affected by the character of the training itself, and the most influencing factors are time, place and content of the training, less are their experience and knowledge of the related training policies, and the least the education background, dependency ratio and gender 2) The peasants' training in Guizhou now is mainly national or provincial projects, and is still government supply-oriented. Peasants' intention to take training is mainly affected by the training suppliers.
