Study On The Evaluation Of Land Intensive Utilization Of Wuhan City Circle

In recent years, the scale of China's urban land has experienced blind expansion and produced negative social, economic and ecological environmental influence, which has caused global wide attention. Controlling the spread of urban land, discussing the relations between urban land use pattern and economic development have been the hottest theme of the international community.Wuhan locates in the east of Hubei province and the middle reaches of the Yangtze River, is situated at the confluence of two big development axis --Chinese east-west one and south-north one, with high population density, better city economic foundation, superior environmental and natural condition It is also the biggest city circle in Hubei province and even in the Middle reach area of the Changjiang River. Currently, the industrialization and urbanization of Wuhan city circle industrialization and urbanization have entered a new development period, facing more intensive urban land using problems.Therefore, whether from the angle of city development and urban land reasonable disposition, or protecting land resources to promote the sustainable utilization of land, the town of intensive land use research appears very important. Facing the intensive utilization of land resources, how to use the limited town is urgent need to resolve.In this thesis, on the basis of domestic and foreign research, take Wuhan city circle, 34 county administrative units as my research objects, collecting the economic and social data from Wuhan city circle of calendar year since the establishment of Wuhan city circle to establish evaluation index system of intensive land use, adding the index system of the spatial factor to the traditional evaluation index system, expanding the connotation of intensive land utilization evaluation. According to the principle of principal component analysis, with SPSS, we can obtain the intensive land use status of comprehensive evaluation and final score of the Wuhan city circle from 2003 to 2009.Importing the rating data into ArcGIS9.2 as properties of the Wuhan city circle, we can get the distribution picture of land intensive use level.Finally, through the analysis of urban land use of the Wuhan city circle, we can find methods of resolving the extensive combat between limited land and rapid development of economy, providing theoretical basis for sustainable utilization of urban land, providing the technical support for the government to formulate intensive land use policies and establish comprehensive, scientific and reasonable land management and decision-making system.
