Study On Development Of Beijing Creative Agriculture

Since 2004, the Central Committee Document No.1 has focused on the "Three-agriculture" issues continuously. How to solve these problems efficiently has become sophisticated issue for both central and local government during the process of working. In the December 23,2006, the target of New Rural Construction proposed by the Central Rural Work Conference is developing production, and the direction of production development is building modem agriculture. As a response, Beijing Municipal City Government had brought forward requirement of developing modem agriculture characterized by expanding agricultural production, life, ecology and function of demonstration, which establishes development of modern agriculture in Beijing in order to promoting rural economy and income of rural residence.With function of Beijing agriculture repositioned and the development of modern agriculture, some new models of agricultural development have emerged in Beijing. The emergence and development of creative agriculture gives new meanings to Beijing Metropolitan Modern Agriculture. However, the current relative studies on Beijing creative agriculture are unsystematic, which cannot provide reference and support for future development of Beijing creative agriculture. Therefore, this dissertation will summarize development models of creative agriculture suited to Beijing features and operable policy recommendations in order to make creative agriculture advanced in Beijing.In this dissertation, three standpoints have been expressed. Firstly, connotation of Beijing creative agriculture will be redefined from views of geographical area, basis and methods of development and industry features. Secondly, we will endeavor to generalize development models of creative agriculture suited to Beijing resources features through investigating culture, agriculture products with special features and modern technology and making some successful experiences both at home and abroad as reference. Last but not the least, we will build Index Evaluation System of Beijing Creative Agriculture by AHP Method after survey and data analysis, which provides quantitative support for development of Beijing creative agriculture. On the basis of mentioned above, this dissertation will put forward innovative proposals on brand protection, internal mechanism and rural finance after analyzing barriers and obstacles handicapping development of Beijing creative agriculture.
