Study Of Risk Management In Deployment Project Of Communication Industry In China

The communication industry in China began to enter the modern developing state in the late 80s of 20^th century. Especially in the latest decay, with the evolution of technology, the communication industry in China started to fly at full speed. The communication network developing trend is from low speed network to high speed network with intelligence, from fixed network to flexible mobilized network, from leased line system to wireless system. With the improvement of the technology, a lot of communication network deployment projects were introduced. The competition between manufactures and between equipment providers become more and more serious, and the impact to local market is huge. The deployment projects of communication have the characters like tight schedule, high technical risk and extremely sensitive. In this condition, how to improve the level of project management, especially how to manage the risks in project, becomes one of the most important subjects. The study of classification of risks and the strategy to manage them can help people highlight the conscious of risk management and improve the quality of project, so that it will keep the development of communication industry smooth and healthy.Risk management was introduced into China as a subject in the 80s of 20th century. At the beginning of the composition, it makes a brief about the risk identification, risk assessment, risk decision, risk control and so on. Then the composition analysis the common risks in project and the reasons that lead to the risks. At last, it makes deep study of the common risks like delay of the goods, shortage of the hand, frequent changes and technical difficulties. The study is based on the theory of the way of dealing with the risks like elimination, relieve, transfer and usage. The results of the study offer a new way of looking at the risk management for the program managers.According to the study, the author also claimed that using positive methods avoiding the risks is better than the passive ways.
