Analysis Of Problems In Management On The Development Of Urban Public Transport

Urban public transportation is the fundamental infrastructure in the city and it is of the vital importance to the daily life of the citizens.On the basis of the research for the public transportation both home and abroad, the author put the emphasis on regular urban public transportation. The paper analyses some typical problems occur in urban public transportation development and takes Ningbo public transportation as an example. In the beginning, the paper introduces the current development for Ningbo public transportation corporations. Then the author uses SWOT to analyze inner environment of the corporation by looking into the factors which are closed connected with the development of Ningbo public transportation. The author also makes a lot of analysis for the problems affecting the development of Ningbo public transportation. At last, the author points out the opportunities and challenges that Ningbo public transportation faces. Based on SWOT, analyze strength weakness opportunity and threat of the development. The author presents the method of Ningbo public transport managements and concludes some pragmatic and constructive advice.There are two targets for this paper: 1. to attract attention from both the society and the government to the development of public transportation 2.to offer some reference for relevant departments in making decisions in public transportation area.
