Research On Construction Of Import Trade Evaluation System For China

The academic's evaluation of import trade are mainly about that import trade has the effect on promoting economic growth, technological advances, improving the national welfare and so on. But these evaluation are based on what effects import have, not evaluating on import trade itself. From the end of last century, academia and governments has deep attention on sustainable development and begin to evaluate development on every social aspect as the standard. For international trade, there are more researches on sustainable development and gradually format the trends of building an evaluation system to research import trade. But currently, these evaluation systems are targeted on the whole trade system or only export trade, there is no evaluation system special for import trade. So this paper that having built an import trade evaluation system has a very important theoretical value and practical significance.Firstly, this paper summarizes related theory on import trade and trade evaluation system. Then establish evaluation direction on the sustainable development of import trade and then build evaluation system on import trade itself, import social efficiency and import environmental efficiency. This paper closely contact dynamic comparative advantage theory of new trade theory, take the idea that the purpose of import trade sustainable development is to format ourselves'comparative advantage from"spillover effect"and"learning by doing"of import trade and achieve import trade sustainable development, promote sustainable development on social every aspects.This paper empirically analyzes the situation of China's import trade sustainable development. Empirical methods take entropy method, one of objective weighting method, and calculate results by import related data from 2002-2007. Empirical results show that China's overall situation of sustainable development on import trade is in a very low level while on the trend of development. Studying import trade itself, Import of China exist the problem of lacking power and need to be exploited. From the aspect of import social effect, China needs to import from high-technology country and strengthen study and absorption then transfer to advantage. From the aspect of import environmental effect, empirical results show that every year indicators have trend of raise, import trade didn't make obvious bad consequence to the environment. Lastly, this paper proposes some measures and advices according to China's import sustainable development such as: take dynamic comparative advantage theory as the guide of import trade; optimize import frame; perfect import police; build platform for import trade.
