The calcium enriching health food, a new product developed by Xinjiang TF Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd, can significantly supplement the calcium element needed by human bodies for building strong bones and muscles, and is free from toxic side-effects. In order to have a comprehensive understanding of the potential market of calcium enriching health food in Xinjiang, the market situation of the target regions, characteristics of the target consumer groups and the information of the competitors, TF specifically entrusted our company to conduct a market research in Xinjiang Autonomous Region in China to provide necessary information for decision-making and supporting data for introducing TF's products into the market. As a project manager, I have organized, planned and implemented the whole research process which involved tentative design, implementation and results analysis.After the lucubration of the regional characteristics of Xinjiang and absorbing the flexible application of market research theories from home and abroad, the thesis applies two research methods of qualitative and quantitative analysis in deepening and summarizing the results of this research which analyzes the industry development trend of calcium enriching health food in Xinjiang, the situation of main competitive brands and market situation in the target regions. Moreover, the research sorts out a few main marketing channels in the present market, and analyzes in depth of the consumption psychology and behavioural characteristics of the target consumer groups, consumers'preferences for publication and the current operating and market situation of the competitors. The thesis concludes whether calcium enriching health food has potential market and provides a basis for the marketing strategies of TF products.On the basis of this report, the thesis also studies the market situation of TF and calcium enriching health food project, analyzes some problems occurred in the current situation and offers relevant conclusions and suggestions, as well as points out the issues that should be paid attention to in formulating long-term development strategies of the company.
