In today's society, people feel that they didn't get more happiness as the enconomy developed, and they began to realize that happiness could be a more meaningful indicateor instead of gross domestic product(GDP). This brings the great development of subjective well-bing(SWB) research. In HROB research, although SWB has become a hot topic, little empirical study has been done on the relationship between SWB and work efficiency variables. What's more, managers have done much to make the employees feel happy, but whether it would benefit the enterprise remains to be lack of theoretical support. The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship among SWB, affective commitment and contextual performance. So this research has important theoretical and practical values.Based on the review of previous literatures on subjective well-being, the research randomly selects 328 employees in 60 different businesses and carries out surveys by questionnaires. Four measuring tools, which are PANAS Questionnaire, SWLS Questionnaire , Affective Commitment Questionnaire and Performance scales. After approropriate data analyses, there revealed the research finds:(1) The balance of positive and negative affect has a positive impact on affective commitment; (2) Affective commitment has a positive impact on contextual performance; (3) The balance of positive and negative affect has a positive impact on contextual performance; (4) The balance of positive and negative affect influences contextual performance through affective commitment and affective commitment played as the total partial moderator in the system; (5) The balance of positive and negative affect influences affective commitment through life satisfaction, and life satisfaction played as mediator in the system.
