The Comparison On Building The Learning Enterprise Between Chinese Companies And Western Companies

The learning enterprise has been observed by the authors home and aboard since it appeared. The world economy becomes global, the consumer's need changes quickly, the competition becomes serious, and the global problems such as terrorist, SARS have great effects on the world and the market. Under such changeable circumstances, the companies have to be credited with the speedy, all-round and high-quality learning abilities to sustain and develop. At the same time, as China has entered the WTO, the competition environment that Chinese companies are confronting has changed, and the Western learning enterprises are occupying the Chinese market. The company has to learn form others, or it will fail. How to keep ones own competition advantages and keep the continual development under global environment is a key issue for many companies. In the author's opinion, the most important point is to build the learning enterprise and to learn from others when building. And to know what the Western companies' advantages are, what the gap is between Chinese companies and Western companies, and how to build the learning enterprise with Chinese companies' characteristics, we have to make a comparison between Chinese companies and Western companies. This thesis is divided into five parts.The first part mainly analyzes the present study condition of the learning enterprise and finds out the shortcomings, then points out the necessity of the thesis.The second part analyzes the basic theory of building the learning enterprise. First, based on the analysis of the definition of the learning enterprise, it studies simply the concept of the learning enterprise, and compares the learning enterprise and organizational learning. Second, it analyzes the models of building the learning enterprise. In the end, it summarizes the factors that affect the process of building the learning enterprise.The third part compares the factors that affect the process of building the learning enterprise between Chinese companies and Western companies.
