In recent years, great changes led to changing organizational structuremorphology in the world economy. Humans have a very close relationship. We haveentered the era of economic globalization. If an organization wants to achieve lastingvitality, we need to seize the time and efforts to build a learning organization. Wemust learn to look at problems in new ways. If organizations have rigid thinking,then they can’t keep pace with footsteps of time and keep on learning. Even if howpowerful the organization, it is unable to cope with the fierce challenge. More andmore organizations realize that they have to constantly create new ideas and findnew ways to solve the problems. This requires organizations to accelerate theprocess of learning organization construction.In this thesis, I first illustrate the origin and development of learningorganization and then take a review and summation for the history of learningorganization briefly. With the summarizing of different scholars’ definitions oflearning organization,I analyze the features of learning organization and sort outsome authoritative models of learning organization. Secondly, the discussioncommenced from the inevitability and necessity. Due to the development of theeconomic, cultural, technical and organizational objective, we can get the conclusionthat the construction of the learning organization has been very urgent. Then, collateand analyze the practice of building a learning organization. This thesis argues thatthe construction of the learning organization Building of ICBC Henan Branchshould base on the construct of learning members, learning leadership and learningteam. This thesis discusses the objectives to be achieved as well as the need to adoptways and means in details. At the end, the thesis summed up the results achieved bythe construction of a learning organization, and pointed out the lack ofunderstanding in building a learning organization once again. Hope that we canovercome the deficiencies in practice. Finally, we forecast the future of the learning organization. This thesis argues that its ultimate goal is the atmosphere ofemployee’s growth environment, to provide a good environment for the growth ofemployees. Learning organization can help organizations develop self-renewalability. This is the root cause of many organizations to their favor.
