| Tourist Environmental Carrying Capacity (TECC) has been paid close attention, since it came into being. But its factors are so complicated that a general concept and measuring method don't form until now. Scholars in many countries continually put forward their own views in recent decades. The academic circles have reach agreement that TECC is made up of Spatial, Economical, Social and Ecological Carrying Capacity etc. But the calculation of TECC and its branches have different viewpoints. There are some scholars who continuously pointed out the limitations of the calculation of TECC and its branches. The corresponding response is: on the one hand, the calculation methods of TECC are constantly improved; on the other, researchers in west countries directly study how to control the problems of TECC, instead of the calculation, thus some theories (such as LAC)appears. In China, the current research mainly stays in the measurement. There is not a complete theory which can resolve the problems of TECC.This paper does a study in depth about the calculation problems of TECC, points out the flaws in calculation of TECC and its branches. Based on this, some calculation methods of TECC and its branches are revised. At the same time, the author founds that management and technique are of importance to TECC. Improving management may improve TECC and promote solving of TECC problems, so how to improve management in resorts is very valuable.
