Logistics in the national economy has become increasingly important, and the logistics center as a nodes of the logistics network also began gradually being valued. The logistics center location occupies an important strategic position for the programming and design of logistics centres. Better logistics center location programme can effectively save cost, promote the coordination of production and consumption,enhance the enterprise's competitive power,and promote the region development.So the logistics center reasonable location is of critical importance.The thesis introduces the concept of the logistics center,elaborates the significance , principle and influence factor of the logistics center location, analyses the characteristic,merits and disadvantages of existing logistics center location models and explains the basic principle of particle swarm optimization(PSO).Then, a logistics center location model which has stronger applicability is established .The model is a Mixed-Integer Linear Model.After PSO is ameliorated,the algorithm flow on the basis of the logistics center location model is designed.At the end of the thesis,an example which uses PSO to solve the logistics center location model is given,and the resule is worked out by C++ programme.The Mixed-Integer Linear Models is a NP hard problems, so it's solution process is very complex .In the paper, Particle swarm optimization as the latest evolution of the optimization algorithm of artificial intelligence technology is used to try to solve this problem. Particle swarm optimization is widely used to solve continuous function optimization issue,but its application in discrete combination optimization problems is still relatively few. Therefore, the paper's research content has the certain academic and practical significance for the logistics center location and PSO.
