The development of both science and technology and the economic globalization process have pushed the human society into the new era of knowledge-based economy. All countries around the world have been pursuing the advanced way of high growth of economy by improving the quality of human resources as well as technological innovations, rather than simply relying on resource investment. It is widely believed that, human resources, act as the most notable concentration for the competitions among enterprises, areas and countries, have already become the key factor of the economic society. Therefore, in the future, the economic growth would more and more emphasize the importance of human resources. This dissertation, which begins with the relationship between human resources and economic growth, embracing the academic way of integration of case research, formal analysis and analysis of both quality and quantity by critically adopting the previous research of the regional economic development theory and practice from not only domestic but also abroad. The author stresses the research of the positive effect of the human resources on economic integration in the Changjiang Delta as well as the strategy for further problems solving. Meanwhile, the author puts forwards several policy suggestions to develop and utilize human resources for promoting and keeping economy development of the Changjiang Delta.The main contributions of this essay includes several aspects listed as follows:⑴Established the quantity model to analyze the relation between human resources and development of the Changjiang Delta regional economy;⑵Analyzed the current situation of human resources from various directions such as quantity, structure, density, efficiency, etc, and systematically summarized the existing problems of human resources.⑶Creatively proposed the overall thinking of human resources development by constructing the regional learning disciplines for Changjiang Delta. Last but not least, the author gives out systematic suggestions on how to realize the final goal.
