The Analysis Of Beijing Mice Industry's Functional Structure Design

The MICE (Meetings, incentives, conference, exhibitions) industry explored a new field of service industry, as it's a "green industry" with a promising future. As the capital of China, Beijing takes the superiority in developing MICE industry. The 2008 Olympic Game gives Beijing large opportunity to develop MICE industry, while there is also serious challenge after China became a member of WTO. The analysis of Beijing MICE industry's functional structure design is very important to the development of Beijing MICE industry.This paper uses system theory to analyze Beijing MICE industry. First, summarize the status quo of Beijing MICE industry and its function, and design the functional structure of Beijing MICE industry. Then find out the conflict between the structure and its function in existence. Third analyze the impetus factors of Beijing MICE industry, and its new functional structure is designed. It also brings forwards four aspects to support the new functional structure, which contains governmental function, industrial management, MICE operating, MICE human resource. At last, bring forwards the seven suggestions of the new functional structure, and points out the prospect of Beijing MICE industry.
