In the tendency of economy internationalization, the development of international cigarette industry has already entered relatively stable period and formed a market situation leading by transnational tobacco companies. It's the changing and diversification demands of the world tobacco market that create development opportunity for a lot of new companies. Changsha Cigarette Factory, as the backbone corporation in domestic market, has began to invest in the international tobacco market in recent ten years and has taken some beneficial exploring. The article is to research and analyze the strategy conducted by Changsha Cigarette Factory in international market through the combination method of theory and practice. Herein I hope to summary the past experience and take the multination company's experience as reference to offer some helpful consideration for Changsha Cigarette Factory in the future.Revolving the goal in international market of Changsha Cigarette Factory, this article analyzes the external environment and internal situation by SWOT method to explain that in making the strategy goal Changsha Cigarette Factory should choose the business with more opportunity and less menace, should develop strongpoint and avoid shortage to reduce the manage and investment crisis. And also by analyzing the internationalized strategy and tactics of the transnational and domestic tobacco companies, and by reviewing the experience in last ten years, aiming at the markets layout, development model and target market choice, this article specify how to choose the efficient marketing strategy and carry out new development model in new situation for Changsha Cigarette Factory. At last this article also analyses five factors, including building sales channel, marketing information system, relationship marketing, building up brand, avoiding crisis and so on, and bring forward improving thoughts to ensure the implementing of internationalization strategy.
