Study On The Theroy And Evaluated Method Of Tourism Enviromental Carrying Capacity

With the rapid development of tourism industry, each tourist region appears a series of environment and society problems for over loading of tourists, such as traffic jam, environment quality decline, ecosystem degradation, or the tourist resources leave unused and taking up the fund for visitors are insufficient seriously. These urge people to think about the healthy way of tourism. Tourism environmental carrying capacity is an important index of the tourism sustainable development. There has very important theory and realistic meaning to carry out theory and quantization method study systematically on tourism environmental carrying capacity.Carrying capacity, sustainable development and their relations are expounded, and the state of tourism environmental carrying capacity is reviewed thoroughly, and problems and shortages are thus pointed out. Based on analyzing the influence between tourist development and tourism environmental system, which points tourism environmental carrying capacity is the comprehensive embodiment of natural, social and economic environmental carrying capacity, not merely how much tourists held by tourist region. Corresponding research contents and qualification system are presented in light of the concepts.Indicator system of tourism environmental carrying capacity, including the rationale, setting objectives, users, functions and the whole set of method for indicator system establishment, is comprehensively studied. Selective principal forindicators are proposed. Based on the above findings, a tourism environmental carrying capacity indicator system and a multiple administrative levels evaluated system was founded. Then, the problems of tourism environmental carrying capacity are sub-classified into complex-giant system of natural, social and economic environment for synthesis analysis and modeling. Further, a multiple administrative levels matter element analysis model for the tourism environmental carrying capacity is set up in term of sustainable development.At last, taking the tourist regions of Xiangxi autonomous prefecture as a case, the current sate of tourism environmental carrying capacity was evaluated by matter element analysis model. The results being close to the practical circumstance show that the matter element analysis is not only simple, but also provides an easy way to calculation and computer programming. It is obvious that comprehensive evaluation of the tourist carrying capacity of a region by the matter element model is feasible.
