With the development of the market economy, the competition among enterprises has shifted from the simple competition in products towards that in enterprise management and corporate culture, and the corporate culture is becoming the core competitive force for future enterprises.Firstly, this paper reviews the related theories on the corporate culture, then studies and analyzes the effects of traditional culture and environmental factors on the corporate culture, and establishes a transformation model with regards to the environment, enterprise and corporate culture. Secondly, studies on emphasis the innovation and practice of the corporate culture in CHALCO Guizhou Branch, and carries out systematic analyses the several aspects such as the backgrounds, measures, achievements and starting points in the innovation of the corporate culture based on the inheritance relationship from Guizhou Aluminium Complex to CHALCO Guizhou Branch, and points out that the core of success in implementing the strategy of corporate culture lies in practising innovation in culture. CHALCO Guizhou Branch has not only inherited the traditional culture (including the corporate culture in the previous Guizhou Aluminium Complex), reformed and re-oriented it, but also put new vigors into the corporate culture and transformed it actively, based on its new meanings empowered due to time passing away and changes in environment, established individual culture,honesty culture, greenery culture and knowledge culture, to promote the development of the enterprise in a innovational way with the corporate culture characterized with innovation, created a harmonious and striving enterprise atmosphere. It also verifies the conclusion regarding the transformation model in the corporate culture related to the environment, enterprise and corporate culture put forwarded in this paper. Finally, it emphatically ponders over the corporate culture in state-owned enterprises, raises the new concept that the culture of the state-owned enterprises is a kind of culture combining the policies and the culture itself, and points out that the construction of the state-owned corporate culture should be targeted at establishing an effective and unique corporate culture on a way of inheritance and innovation.
