Research On The Status Of Land Utilization For Chinese Golf Courses Construction And Its Development In The Future

This research on those problems of Chinese golf courses construction, such as unreasonable course investment, unscientific construct site, un-appropriate land use etc. which have been caused a lot of disputes and blocks for the development of Chinese golf industry all over the country, analyses present phenomena, compares with other golf developed nations, forecasts Chinese growing trends of golf course, and set a system of suggestions for China golf course constructing to some related.On one hand, the paper compares the present status of land use for golf courses in China to those which are in the far-back and modern history, analyses the courses distributing with explaining its cause of formation, point out some problems existing in the land examination and approve for golf courses in our nation. On the other hand, it makes reference to course construction in golf countries or district such as Taiwan and Germany, further states the nature of the golf sport, the sorts of golf courses, the characteristics of land utilization for courses, and the economic and social benefits caused by the sport.Based on above mention, it indicates that it is inevitable to develop golf course in China, which has been promoted by the power of economy growing. And some conjectures are doped out from two different points of views as follow:1. Computing by statistic and forecasted methods, there will be 743~823 golf courses opened in 2020.2. According to Chinese land resources, consulting several typical golf countries, there will eventually be 13375 courses in China built on the un-used land. And the huger number of courses will be formed in 2127 (121years later), considered the trend of recently 20-year courses developing. Besides, the research reveals: there is no contrary between intelligently developing golf courses and rightly using lands for agrarian protection; to correctly induct golf courses constructing is one of facets for national policy on land use.At last, some suggestions of golf courses developing in China are advanced, such as the external attitude to golf industry, the related fundamentals and steps, the construct standardization and so on.
