In our country, mining industry is the basic industry. It plays an important role in the country economy development, and safety is the ultimate guarantee of mining industry's stable, persistent, and fast developing. For mining industry, because of the bad working conditions, safety problem becomes more important, more complicated, and more difficult to resolve. Therefore, safety is of great importance in coalmines, it relates to the property of country and the coal employees' life safety and the health of body and mind. However, at recent years, many fatal and disastrous accidents are frequently occurring, it badly threatens the miners' safety and brings serious loss to our country and the employees. And also, it makes extremely negative influence to the stability and comity of society. Thus, how to prevent accident efficiently is becoming the most important problem in safety production and safety management of coalmining. As an important measure of preventing accidents, system safety analysis and evaluation becomes an important question for discussion nowadays.The thesis uses method of combining theory analysis with practice, investigates the internal and overseas present actuality of safety analysis and evaluation sufficiently, introduces the concepts, contents and the methods of safety analysis detailedly, analyzes the manifold factors that influencing safety during production sufficiently. At the same time, it introduces the main methods of carrying out safety evaluation and the characteristics and appl ication scope of each method synthetically. Then the thesis introduces the evaluating principles when using safety check form to analyze and evaluate, and combines with mining industry to introduce the evaluating contents and grading method. At last, it shows how to do safety analysis and evaluation visually by analyzing a case of analyzing and evaluating in coalmine.
