Since the end of the cold war, due to the unceasing progress of the science and technology, the fast spread of the market economy system as well as the swift and violent development of the multinational corporation, the economic globalization has become an irreversible trend of the times, and it is accelerating to develop. Being influenced by the economic globalization, the world economy displays a lot of new characteristics and phenomena. One of the most important characteristics is the continual adjustment of the world industrial structure, and especially the service industry has substituted for the manufacturing industry to become the leading actor in the world economy system. As the largest developing countries, to develop economy and raise living standard of the people are the common duties for China and India. Both countries have carried on the economic reform respectively at the end of the 1970's and the beginning of the 1990's. This has helped them to realize the fast growth and development of national economy and become one of the most vigorous economic bodies in the global economic pattern. At the same time, by the adjustment of the bilateral diplomatic strategy, Sino-Indian political relations have received unceasing improvement, and the bilateral economic and trade relations have made good progress. But in comparison with the rapid development of Sino-Indian commodity trade, the bilateral cooperation on service industry has lagged.
