Study On Evolution Direction Of Zhuhai's Industry Structure

There is always a disscussion on Zhuhai city's industry policy,that is whether a tuorism or a secondary industry would be more competative for Zhuhai. This thesis attempts to determining whether a tuorism or a secondary industry would be more competative for Zhuhai by analyzing Zhuhai's industry structure, resources and comparative advantages,and probe into the evolution direction of Zhuhai's industry structure.With analyse on the comparative superiorities of secondary industry development, we think that there were favorable conditions and unique advantages for Zhuhai to develop secondary industry. With analyse on the comparative superiorities for Zhuhai's tourism development, we deem that the comparative superiorities for Zhuhai is inadequate. With analyse above this thesis draws a conclusion that there are prominent adavantages for Zhuhai to develop secondary industry.Based on the principle that market-oriented production or surbordination of production to market must be obeyed while developing economy,this thesis propose that Zhuhai industry structure adjustnment must be oriented by market, We need to adapt to the need of market and develop the concept of"secondary-industry-prospered city"to find its way from industrilization to economic regionalization. Meanwhile, developing tourism shall be considered as an important factor in adjusting industry structure. During such adjustment, a new phase of tourism shall be developed. During the process of developing tourism, Zhuhai should focus on developing its featured tourism products,Zhuhai tourism economy shall make good use of the effects brought by these tourism sites to extend itself to a new phase.
