According to the related theory and methods of modern performance evaluation system, the thesis makes comprehensive and meticulous analysis to the original performance evaluation practice of Huacheng Hotel, and points out the weaknesses of the employee performance evaluation process.Then the auther puts forward a new set of complete and betterment project to the employee performance evaluation system.The thesis includes four parts. First, setting forth the basis theory to the performance evaluation, putting forward the research train of thought, main contents and research methods; Second, analyzing the practicing status to the performance evaluation system to Huacheng Hotel, and points out the weaknesses as follows: the performance evaluation system is not complete; the performance index and goals are not pertinence ;the standards and the evaluation methods to the performance evaluation are not pertinence; the relationship to the evaluation results and rewards and punishment are not reasonable. Afterward, according to the weaknesses, the thesis provides the improvement project to Huacheng Hotel employee performance evaluation system, definitudes the basis train of thought to improve the performance evaluation system, plans the seven factors to the performance evaluation system, definitudes performance goals, establishes performance index system, designs useful performance evaluation forms, evaluation frequency, mode and evaluation and appeal flow and so on. And putting the evaluation results to salary management, employee training, position change, career development and so on. Last, making research and analysis to the potential obstruction to the new performance evaluation system, and providing corresponding methods to the obstruction to put the new system into practice successfully.According to the research to Huacheng Hotel performance evaluation system ,the thesis perfects and provides a useful performance evaluation system. And provides the theory basis to establish and improve the performance evaluation system to hospitality industry.
