Research Of Development Strategy Guanghui Liquefied Natural Gas Industry

As a new"absolute clean energy", LNG has 60-year history of mature application in the world. 10 years ago, a group of men of insight and petrol oil experts started discussion of the feasibility of LNG application in China. As the prices of oil and oil products have been rising in the past years, LNG interests people with its comparative low price. CNOOC has firstly conformed to the market need and signed the LNG purchase contract with Australian supplier. Subsequently, SinoPec invested to build the first LNG plant in Puyang, Henan, China for commercial production and LNG was produced first in 2002.Under these circumstances and backgrounds, Guanghui LNG project is built and begins production, marking the start of commercial operation of China LNG industry and real establishment of LNG industry chain with Chinese characteristics.The paper mainly analyzes the development and strategic plan of Xinjiang Guanghui Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) Development Co., Ltd. The paper comprises five parts, namely, the current status and trend of LNG industry both at home and abroad; the establishment and operation mode of Guanghui LNG industry chain; main influencing factors to and countermeasures of Guanghui LNG industry development; competition strategy and development trend as well as the popularization value of Guanghui LNG industry. In these five parts the paper elaborates on the first large scale domestic LNG production and operation enterprise-Guanghui LNG Development Co., Ltd. with its process of structuring LNG industry chain and takes apart the problems occurring in setting up LNG industry chain and puts forward the solution.The successful operation of Guanghui LNG project will bring a long-term impact to China LNG industry.
