Research On The Development Strategy Of Yuntou Forestry Corporation

To enhance the competitiveness of Yunjing Forest & Pulp Mill Co.,Ltd.(Referred to as “Yuntou Forestry Corporation”)and achieve a rapid development,the successful enterprises cases in the industry of forestry pulp paper have been analyzed by the theory and case study.Therefore,according to the actual situation of the enterprise,the paper puts forward a series of mid-and-long term development strategy suggestions.The paper are formed as follows: Firstly,the main problem during the development of Yuntou Forestry Corporation has been analyzed,and the theories and methods related to development strategy analysis have been introduced.Secondly,by analyzing of the macro-environment,external environment and internal resources and capabilities of the paper industry,the mid-and-long term development strategy(i.e.,forestry-paper integration development strategy)of Yuntou Forestry Corporation.Finally,the safeguard measures for the implementation of the strategy are proposed.The results of the research is as follow.With the comprehensive analysis of Yuntou Forestry Corporation internal and external environment and ability,we find the combination of the internal advantage resources and the direction of management control,and develop the management advantages different from competitors(i.e.,Green Eco-modern Forest Industry Cluster with Forest Pulp and Paper as the foundation and Composite board and forest chemical industry as the aid),which will make Yuntou Forestry Corporation step in one of the largest green,low-carbon and sustainable comprehensive modern forestry listed group in Yunnan and even southwest China.Finally,the strategic implementation control measures are clearly put forward.Based on the focus of this study,the core competence and operating ability of enterprises have not been studied deeply.Only in strategic aspects,the performance of enterprise's organizational and operational capability in practical operation for the benchmark enterprise in our industry has been deeply analyzed.
