Research On Rebuilding And Upgrading Equipment Manufacturing Industry Of Shaanxi By Hi-tech

As the biggest developing country in the world, China is in the urgent period of adjusting the industrial structure and upgrading the industry technology. And new equipment replacement will be resulted, which depends on the development of the equipment manufacturing industry in China. Shaanxi province is one of the original bases of equipment manufacturing industry, and this industry relates not only to the upgrade and development of industrial structure in Shaanxi but also to the security and economic development of the whole country.In recent years, our country has put forward a series of policies to develop equipment manufacturing industry, which has symbolized that our country has attached great importance to this industry and that this industry has played an important role in the national economy. In June,2006, State Department held the national working conference on developing equipment manufacturing industry in order to plan and arrange the concrete work. Such an important conference was held in Xi'an, which shows that Shaanxi's equipment manufacturing industry has been paid much attention to.How to rebuild and upgrade equipment manufacturing industry in Shaanxi province by Hi-tech are discussed as the main topic in this paper. Firstly, the definition, extension and characteristics of equipment manufacturing industry have discussed in the paper, as well as the evolvement and development of the equipment manufacturing industry in China and new trend and requirements of it in the new century. Then the current situation and problems of the equipment manufacturing industry in Shaanxi province have been analyzed, and the reasons of these problems have been found,too. Meanwhile, combining with the successful lessons of western equipment manufacturing industry and finding the similarities between them, some useful experiences for this industry have been proposed. Finally, it is presented that equipment manufacturing industry in Shaanxi should be rebuilt by Hi-tech. And it is also discussed how to realize the combination of Hi-tech and the traditional equipment manufacturing industry, and how to use policies comprehensively to ensure the reconstruction of the equipment manufacturing industry in Shaanxi by Hi-tech in order to improve the strength of it at home and abroad.
