Research On The Joint Development Of Scientific And Technological Innovation And Regional Economy In Shanghai

As a growing international city, Shanghai needs to maintain its advantage in scientific and technological innovation and make great efforts in boosting up knowledge competitiveness. The foundation of Shanghai's advantage in scientific and technological innovation is the cooperation of every district, department and corporation in Shanghai. The prosperity of districts makes the prosperity of Shanghai. Only when Shanghai's scientific and technological innovation system is based on the districts, revitalizing the city through science and education can be realized. Therefore, to research and open out relationship between Shanghai' scientific and technological innovation and economic development, to abstract the integrated development experience of them, and to analyse the reasons of inconsistent development phenomenon of each other, are realistically important to build characteristic of regional scientific and technological innovation and drive the consistant development of them.The author collects data and information by investigating the interrelated governments of the districts, science and technology gardens and corporations, and then, makes the actuality and characteristic of scientific and technological innovation clear, expounds the main problems and restricting factors. Qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis are used to research on the relationships between regional scientific and technological innovation and industrial clusters, scientific and technological innovation and urbanization, scientific and technological innovation and economic development, scientific and technological innovation and functional orientation. And furthermore, this dissertation proposes countermeasures and suggestions on how to develop Shanghai's scientific and technological innovation and economic development consisitantly and how to put Shanghai's scientific and technological strategy in practice.
