Recently the total amount of FDI (Foreign Direct Investment) in Shanghai has increased continually, which has almost reached to 100 billion. Shanghai has already become one of the most important destinations of international industry transfer. The flows of FDI have greatly effects on Shanghai's economic development. With the capital and technological overflow effects, foreign capital pushes the industrial structure upgrading and improves the industrial international competitive capability. Meanwhile it creates lots of employment opportunities and therefore accelerates Shanghai's integral industrial structure adjustment. Being pushed by foreign investment, Shanghai has realized the rapid economic increase.
