Research On The Adaptability Of Industrial Development In The Investment Environment Of Tianjin

Tianjin is one of the most important industrial bases of China and the economic center in the north of China. The development of Tianjin Binhai New Area has been confirmed as national developing strategy formally and written into the Eleventh Five-Year-Plan of China. Now, Tianjin is facing a strategic developing opportunity. In order to seize this opportunity and accelerate the development of Tianjin, we need to create an excellent investment environment to attract more FDI. Therefore, it's necessary for us to evaluate Tianjin's investment environment systematically. On the one hand, a comprehensive and systemic evaluation can help foreign investors to know Tianjin's investment environment more systematically and make investment decision more reasonably. On the other hand, such evaluation also can help us find out the shortcomings of Tianjin's investment environment and provide theoretical basis for Tianjin government to improve Tianjin's investment environment.In this thesis, the theories and methods which were created to evaluate investment environment by former researchers are synthesized. Qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis, systems analysis and comparative analysis, criterion study and demonstration study, all of these are used to conduct a comprehensive evaluation to the investment environment of Tianjin. On the basis of investigating the data of Tianjin's investment environment and considering the characteristics of Tianjin, the theoretical model and indicator system are established. Then, Tianjin's investment environment is evaluated systematically from six aspects, such as physical geography environment, infrastructure environment, human resources environment, politics environment and law environment. Moreover, the adaptability for Tianjin to develop some main industries is also discussed. At the end of the thesis, some policy suggestions are given to improve Tianjin's investment environment.
