With the deep-going of electric power system reform, power supply enterprises have to improve their performance continuously to be adaptive to new environment. Firstly, an index system of performance evaluation is constructed in this paper. It includes issues on financial affairs, customers, internal operation process, and learning and growth. Secondly, models for performance evaluation of power supply enterprises are constructed, which are based on date envelopment analysis (DEA) and principal component analysis (PCA) methods. The input and output indices of the model are simplified utilizing PCA. At last, through case study, the model is proved to be efficient and feasible, and measurements to improve performance of power supply enterprise are put forward.
