Action learning breaks through the limitations of traditional learning, it can improve corporate competitive capacity and employee recognition, and is effective learning mode in new century and new stage. The paper with action learning as subject reviews firstly the sources and development of theory of action learning abroad and experiences in China; Then action learning is studied theoretically, including hypothesis, program, instruments and mechanism of action, etc. thirdly, effectiveness of action learning is studied empirically with statistical methods and econometric models. In this part, relation between action learning and corporate competitive capacity and relation between action learning and employee recognition are tested. Finally, this paper studies the case of China Resources Land (Beijing) Co., Ltd and analyzes effectiveness of action learning through records of interviewing with employees, which provides more proofs for theoretical and empirical studies above.There are three innovation points in this article. Firstly, in the paper, theory of action learning is reviewed and studied; Secondly, the effectiveness of action learning is empirically tested with statistical methods and econometric models; Thirdly, the paper studies the case of China Resources Land (Beijing) Co., Ltd and tests the effectiveness of action learning again by analysing the records of interviewing from the corporation.
