Research On The Old-age Insurance System Of Land-expropriated Peasants In Shandong Province

China is a large agricultural country. Land is the most essential productive resource and living security for peasants. Along with urbanization speed up, the land is expropriated and the scale unceasingly expands, the certain group of land-expropriated peasants appears. As most land-expropriated peasants are in low knowledge and working skill, they will face great risk in living and employment. In the process of establishing harmonious society of socialism, the problem of land-expropriated peasants has aroused a universal social concern. It is very necessary to establish and perfect the old-age insurance system of land-expropriated peasants.In view of Shandong's the old-age insurance system of land-expropriated peasants, through the massive sample investigation and demonstration methods, the paper has carried through qualitative and quantitative analysis about land-expropriated peasants. The first part is introduction. Second, the paper introduces present situation of Shandong's land-expropriated peasants, and analyzes the reason of land-expropriated peasants' problem. Third, the paper introduces the development and main contents of the old-age insurance system of land-expropriated peasants in Shandong. Forth, by analyzing the old-age insurance system of land-expropriated peasants in Shandong, the paper finds out the old-age insurance system in Shandong approximately matches economic development level. Fifth, the paper evaluates the old-age insurance system. Sixth, the paper proposes suggestions to perfect the old-age insurance of land-expropriated peasants in Shandong province.The paper has three innovations. Second, by comparing actual pension with expectant pension of Shandong's land-expropriated peasants in 2006, the paper analyzes the implementation of the old-age insurance of land-expropriated peasants in Shandong. Third, by analyzing the relationship between actual pension and area's per capita GDP, the paper concludes the feasibility of old-age insurance system of land-expropriated peasants in Shandong.The theory of old-age insurance for land-expropriated peasants in China is not perfect.
