Research On Cooperative Manufacturing Partner Selection

Today, the manufacturing industry faces more and more challenges, the uncertain of market is increasing, and the change of customer's demand is rapid. Although the types of product become more plentiful with the customer's requirements, the life cycle of products is shortening, so that the enterprises should keep taking new measures to develop better. People do not care the single process only, but also pay attention to the crisscross process network. As one of the basic links in manufacturing,coordination is paid more and more attention by industries.It is important to select suitable partners for carrying out coordination manufacturing successfully, therefore, the research on partner selection becomes a hot spot. But those researches focused on traditional manufacturing model, coordination manufacturing has its own advantages, so the partner selection is different. This paper mainly studies the contents as follow:Firstly, the paper looks up lots of files, based on the retrospection of development of partner selection, it analyzes the competition advantages of coordination manufacturing, the basic principles and steps of partner selection, it puts forward three-factor model for cooperate reasons.Secondly, the paper constructs the evaluation indexes system and model of partner selection. The evaluation on partner of coordination manufacturing is an optimization question. According to the principles of constructing evaluation indexes, we choose quality, price, delivery, technology and service as first level indexes. There are so many factors in partner selection, so we should consider the difference between the qualitative ones and the quantitative ones. Therefore, this paper use extension theory combined with AHP to construct evaluation model, which is based on Matter Element Model. And this approach is used in a wheel manufacturing company, and the evaluation index system was proved to be practicable. Finally, it puts forward the countermeasure frame for partner selection on coordination manufacturing. According to the character of this problem, we give five aspects advice and countermeasure, and also analyzed the risk of the partner relationship.
