Research On The Inter-relationship Mechanism Between Intellectual Property Protection And Technology Innovation

This paper mainly analyses the mutual-motivation mechanism between Intellectual Property Protection and Technology Innovation using theoretical and empirical methods.In the theoretical research, this paper firstly explains the meaning of Intellectual Property and Technology Innovation from a view of creation and commercialization of knowledge(mainly intellectual achievements), secondly discusses the necessity of Intellectual Property through the requirement of Technology Innovation, thirdly describes how to generate and protect Intellectual Property in the process of Technology Innovation, fourthly analyses the features of Intellectual Property and two-side effects on Technology Innovation, and at last summarizes a logical analysis mode of the inter-relationship between Intellectual Property and Technology Innovation which regarding the behalf of property right as the core.The empirical study includes macroscopic and medium beddings. In the macroscopic research, this paper mainly discusses the historical paths of inter-relationship between Intellectual Property and technology progress, and then studies the effects of Intellectual Property Protection under different Technology Innovation paths including America, Japan, Korea. In the medium research, this paper takes software industry as an example, and analyses the conditions of Technology Innovation level and the effects of Intellectual Property Protection using the data of patents.
