The New Research Of Chang-Zhu-Tan Regional Economic Cooperation

With the deep development of the globalization and regionalization of the world economy, and also with the profound open-to-all economy reform in our country, the trend of the integration of regional economy in our districts has become more popular either in the theory research or in the practice. As one of the important hot topics of Chang-Zhu-Tan regional economic cooperation and development in the middle part of China, it has been experienced theoretic study and developing practice for many years. Because of the independence and exclusiveness of administrative partition, the development of Changsha, Zhuzhou and Xiangtan city were lack of wide lateral connection, so it left a lot of harmful consequences such as different urban planning system between the three cities, vague regional work division, assimilated industrial structure, segmented market, repeated construction, which may lead to enormous waste! The close geographical location as an advantage can't play an important role in the process of development. Furthermore, there arose some negative effects. It is hard to form mutual and resultant force to develop. Research from the aspect of Chang-Zhu-Tan regional economic cooperation will be good for promoting this important international and regional cooperation for governments in all levels,business and academic fields.By the combined means of historical and detailed analysis, this paper is written on the basis of all-round actuality of regional cooperation and development in Chang-Zhu-Tan District in order to develop regional economy harmoniously, which studied new development opportunity of regional cooperation and development in Chang-Zhu-Tan District, to establish new development strategic goals and approaches, to create a cooperation mechanism and a breakthrough mode which may make progress in the near future, and to bring forward the feasible means of advancing Chang-Zhu-Tan regional economic cooperation.The paper firstly cites the elementary theory of region economic cooperation from classical regional work division and cooperation theory, Keynes'economics principle to point-axis development theory, network development theory, and regional network economy to expand the region economic cooperation theory. The above mentioned constitute the theoretic foundations of this article.Then the paper expounds the present situation and the new requests for Chang-Zhu-Tan regional economic cooperation, which is the main part of this paper. The low efficiency of economic cooperation and the slow pace of integration of Chang-Zhu-Tan are extremely unsuitable to the changed domestic and foreign environment.
