Several research results show that the stress of IT industry is most severe, and it is one of the industries that have the highest pain index. As a kind of extreme phenomenon of negative stress, job burnout is eroding the physical and psychological health of the technologists in IT companies. Therefore, there is some practical meaning to intervene in the job burnout of the technologists in IT companies, based on the research production of the psychology. This paper just uses empirical analysis in the form of questionnaire to analyze the status quo of job burnout of the technologists in IT companies, probes into the relationship between the potential stressors of job(such as job burden, career development and role recognition),mediating variables(such as organizational support, coping mode)and job burnout of the technologists. Based on the discussion, this paper puts forward some management strategies on the job burnout of the technologists in IT companies from organizational and individual angle separately.The contribution of this paper consists of:1. Systemically clear up the research literature about the individual job burnout, its influential factors and intervening strategies.2. Carry through the empirical research on the characteristic of job burnout of the technologists in IT companies, Applying statistical analysis methods, such as correlation analysis and path analysis. This paper concludes the following four research results through investigation.(1)The job burnout of the technologists in IT companies is on the middle level. Among three dimensions of job burnout, emotional exhaustion is the most severe, then cynicism, but the professional efficacy is still on the higher level.(2)The level of job burnout of the technologists in IT companies is remarkably different in the demographic variables, such as the period spent working and their position.(3)The potential stressors of job has a remarkable effect on the level of job burnout of the technologists in IT companies. Among the stressors, job burden, career development and role recognition is the most remarkable.(4)Organizational support, coping mode has a remarkable moderating effect...
