That will, to some extent, increase the ability of the whole economy to supply employment positions. Secondly, with the improvement of industry, the employment structure is also advancing. The tertiary industry plays a more important role than the secondary industry in supplying opportunities of the employment. But it is worth noticing that many people rushing into the service industry haven't made the production value of this industry going up quickly, but the departure degree of the structure of tertiary industry becomes to be negative. Thirdly, in an ideal situation, there will be more than 2.8 million employment positions available in Shanghai in the future. The major employers are financial intermediation industry, wholesale & retail trade business and leasing & business services industry. In the future, financial intermediation industry will be a very important industry in increasing production value and providing new employment positions in Shanghai.
