Analysis Of Current Status Of Seed Industrialization And Studies On Its Developmental Strategy In Shanghai

Seed industrialization is an important part of agriculture industrialization under the condition of socialism market economy. Seed industrialization is to find out an efficient way to build a industrial system by combining the different parts in seed pre-production, seed production and seed post-production, which was individual part under the planned economy. It is the inevitable product of the development of our country's rural commercial economy and market-oriented economy. It is another great innovation of organization and management system of seed production, and it is also the requirement for agricultural economy to change from extensive farming into intensive farming. Seed industrialization in our country has just started, there is still a bigger gap comparing to developed country. It have become an important topic in Chinese seed field that how to hold the opportunity and search for a seed industrialization way suitable for China. In present paper, the development strategies will be proposed for the reference of the development of the seed industrialization in Shanghai according to the theory of the seed industrialization, by leaning the experience of the developed countries and analyzing current status and the problems of seed industrialization in Shanghai.In this paper, the connotation, the basic theory, the significance, the necessity, the basic features, the organization mode and the operating system of the seed industrialization were summarized. Then, the experience and enlightenment of seed industrialization in developed countries and our country were summarized. After looking back the features and problems of seed industrialization development in Shanghai, the basic thought, development principle and aims of the seed industrialization in Shanghai were proposed. Finally, the strategies and measures to promote the development of the seed industrialization in Shanghai were suggested: applying the strategy of agriculture based on seed and improving the innovation of science and technology; pushing the diversification of investment source and creating business and management mechanism; strengthening the ability of the macroscopic regulation and control and pursuing the legalization of the seed management; perfecting the basic establishment construction of seed industry; building and amplifying seed information network and increasing the accuracy of the market forecasting.
