Research On Solving The Housing Problem Of Farmer Workers In Cities In The Background Of Urbanization

Along with the urbanization process in China a large number of farmers enter to the cities. Their housing problem in cities has become an issue that needs to resolve instantly. In this paper, the author uses economic theory to analyze the housing characteristics of fanner workers, the problems that exist, the significance of it, and the influential factors. On this basis, the author brings up the train of thought and approaches to solve the housing problem of fanner workers.Firstly, the paper summarizes the housing characteristics and problems of farmer workers in cities, and expounds the urgency on solving the housing problem of farmer workers from these aspects. And it analyzes the practical significance to solve the housing problem of farmer workers for China's modernization, urbanization and the "three rural" problem.Then the paper specifically analyzes the influential factors of solving the housing problem of farmer workers. These factors include the household registration system, the system of state-owned urban land, the external environment and farmer workers' qualities. And it also analyzes that how the household registration system impedes the solving housing problem of farmer workers as a basic influential factor.Next, under the influential factors of solving the housing problem of farmer workers, the paper brings up the train of thought to solve the housing problem of the fanner workers.Under the basis of this analysis, it specifically analyzes the effective way to solve the housing problem of the farmer workers which are transforming of villages in city and public housing system. And the two complement each other and make up a basic framework for settlement. This is the main content of this paper.Finally, the paper brings up the supporting measures of settlement of the housing problem of the farmer workers in the city from the land market, the transformation of government functions, attract social capital and urban planning aspects of the issue.
