| Jiangsu is one of the China's coastal provinces with booming economy. During its process of urbanization, with the sharp shrink of cultivatable land and the increase of agricultural productivity, huge numbers of rural labors have been liberated from their land and into the tertiary and secondary industry which result in the increase of their income. At the same time, they have made great contributions to the city development in Jiangsu.However, there are still acute contradictions between labor need and supply. Structural contradictions still exist. It is thus of great significance on how to ensure the feasible and order transfer of rural labor, improve the healthy and fast development in cities and to build up a harmonious society.Based on the study of the transfer model in foreign countries, the article aims to conduct a specialized study on the limit of rural labor transfer in Jiangsu. During the course of making of this article, the author launched a survey through questionnaires in Jiangsu's southern, northern and central areas and analyzed the situation of rural labor output in Jiangsu's northern and central areas and input in southern areas.Based on the sample survey, the article illustrates the current basic situation in the rural labor transfer in jiangsu. It is shown that there exist many problems such as the contradiction of supply and demand, technical obstacles, systematic limit, function deficiency and hard living situation. It is then suggested that a powerful organization and leadership platform, a non-profit employment platform, an information platform, a local public security management platform, a law-enforcement platform and a high quality training platform should be built up.Through the survey of current situation in Jiangsu's rural labor transfer, the article aims to propose feasible policy suggestions through the analysis of problems existing in rural labor transfer in Jiangsu, with a combination of successful model in foreign countries. |
