Study On Spatial Structure Evolution Of Lanzhou-Xining Concentrated Area

Spatial structure is the interaction among the social, economic objects and the cluster scale or cluster appearance on the space. It is the essence reflection of the social and economy in the region develops appearance. The back that the spatial structure evolution is not only conceives various inside mechanisms, but also provides a direct angle of view to observe, study, adjust and control region development. Carry on spatial structure analysis to the region in the market economy environment- according to the principle which is described above, analyze the evolution regulation, reveal the development mechanism, make regional planning are the means which can promote the region development.City-and-town concentrated area is a kind of special organized form of the region space. Because of the biggest city function with the strong center city and reasonable town community division of labor, it has the most important development influence of region, and gradually dominates global economic lifeline.With the western regional development and other policies are put into effect, the western of china, especially northwest area faces a development opportunity. Therefore, studying on spatial structure is good for the development of these regions. And it contains an important meaning on contracting the gap between the less developed and developed areas.This thesis take Lanzhou-Xining city-and-town concentrated area as an instance, make a thorough research on the evolution of the spatial structure, at the same time, provide appropriate spatial structure development model to promote this area quickly develop.Conclusions are drawn as follows:1. The evolution of spatial structure went through four stages in Lanzhou-Xining city-and town concentrated area, such as dot distribution, inside filling, dual-nuclei structure forming and developing etc. Before Qing dynasty, settlements appeared. But limited by the environment, the settlements were distributed by the rivers. By Tang dynasty, considered at the politics and military affairs, appeared lots of cities and towns. At that time, Lanzhou became the most important and developed city in the area, and constructed single-nucleus structure. After Song dynasty, Xining became the secondary city in Lanzhou-Xining city-and-town concentrated area, and constructed Dual-nuclei structure with Lanzhou.2. The spatial structure of Lanzhou-Xining city-and town concentrated area is affected by natural condition, political military, the economy trade, transportation condition, religious culture and resources to develop etc. And in different times, space dimensions and science technique level, the influence degree also doesn't exert a homology.3. There are four aspects of the spatial structure characteristics in Lanzhou-Xining city-and-town concentrated area: the center city is too weak to drive other cities and towns; the towns cluster degree is not high; the towns' whole strength is partial to weak; the region develops very unbalance; in the future, we can adopt the spatial structure and promote the development by build up a coordination mechanism; strengthen infrastructure construction; adjust industrial structure and set up reasonable town system etc.
