Drawing upon years' hands-on experience in corporate training, the author has employed theories and latest findings in modern human resource management when conducting this relatively systematic research on the corporate training. The paper has begun with an analysis of the status quo of corporate training in China, elaborated the training practice in companies, summarized omnipresent rules in the training activities, attempted a seamless combination of training theories and practices, and finally fabricated the corporate training operating and guaranteeing system models.It is the author's view that, to boost the corporate training efficiency and performance, the consummate training operating and guaranteeing systems have to be set up. The two systems, guided by the enterprise strategy, are in conformity with the enterprise's human resource strategic planning. They can be divided into several key links, depending upon the training process established, with each link possible to be subdivided into multiple variants and operating steps. The corporate training operating system extends to cover the whole process starting at training needs analysis and ending at the training completion. It may be split into five key links, namely, training needs analysis, training objective definition, training plan development, training implementation, and training evaluation. The corporate training guaranteeing system, including a variety of guarantees entailed by an effective training process, is broken down into a few modules: cultural guarantee, organizational guarantee, institutional guarantee, personnel guarantee, effect guarantee, and risk guard etc. Among those modules, the institutional guarantee serving various links of the training operation proves most important, since it ensures effective implementation of training programs and the realization of predefined objectives. As the guarantee system has the operating system as the target, it constitutes a powerful backup that is essential to the effective functioning of the operating system. The guaranteeing system's aim lies in achieving an effective operation of training activities.With a view to further ameliorating the models for the corporate training operating and guaranteeing systems, this paper has focused its attention on analyzing and studying various logic links of the two models. It is the author's belief that corporate training is a systems engineering which should receive adequate attentions from the company's senior management level and be given strategic importance. Besides, it also puts forwards demands for clear-cut guidelines from the management and standardized as well as systematic operations. Here lies the most prominent contribution this paper ventured to make: in the modularized operating & guaranteeing systems, all the factors at different levels that affect the training performance are marked, and the management is therefore enabled to compare them with the company's conditions; upon problems identified in the training activities, the management may pinpoint the underlying causes before improving the activities and reinforcing the efficiency and performance.The paper ends up with a discussion on how to carry out the continuous improvement for training. Efforts in training improvement trace, summarize, and enhance training activities underway. A company may resort to a wide range of measures to strengthen building of the internal training cultures, bolster the corporate training performance, and eventually upgrade the company's organizational performance.
