With the development of the globalization of the world economy, the competition among enterprises is becoming more and more fiercely. Human resource management has been a major factor to improve company's competitive power. Performance management is an important part in human resource management. It pushes long term development of company if it runs effectively.This thesis selected a small manufacturing company named XS as an object of study. It analyzed the company structure, job responsibility and business process, then listed the questions of the current performance evaluation system and talked about the courses of the problems. The content of performance evaluation is the important part of performance evaluation system and decides the effects of performance appraisal. The author helped establish the evaluation index from the angles of goal-breaking up, job responsibility, business process and the problem-facing to settle. The plan endowed proportion of evaluation index and made good use of appraisal results and then formed the performance evaluation system. During the process of designing performance indicators, it established scientific performance evaluation indicators with the help of key performance indicator and behaviour indicator combining goal managemet and process management.This paper not only helped XS Corporation to improve performance management system but also gave much advice for culture and welfare. Effective and scientific performance management system needs cooperation of company management regulations, in reverse pushes company management high effectively.
